A cut voided long cross halfpenny probably of Henry III (1216-1272 AD). Uncertain mint; possible moneyer is Ricard, allowing for the following mints: Canterbury, Durham, Gloucester, Hereford, Lincoln, London, Shrewsbury and Wallingford. If the moneyer is Ricard, this would confirm that this was a halfpenny issued during the later reign of Henry III (c. 1247-1272) instead of the early reign of Edward I. Obverse: illegible Obverse legend: hENRICV[S] [REX] Reverse: Voided long cross with three pellets in each remaining quadrant. Reverse legend: RI(C?) [...] [...] [...]

An extremely worn, clipped and slightly bent Medieval silver short cross penny of John (1199-1216 AD) . Moneyer: Walter; mint: London. Probably Class 5c, minted c. 1207-1210. North Vol 1, No. 971. Obverse: Crowned ruler facing with sceptre; attributes of bust missing entirely. Obverse legend: hEN[RICVS] [R]-EX Reverse: Voided short cross with four pellets in each quadrant. Reverse legend: + WAL[TER] ON LVN
