A cast copper alloy Roman pin dating from the late first or early second century. The head is in the form of an open, human hand with the fingers held together and the thumb extended and curved upwards to give a deep, U-shaped groove. It fits into Cool's Metal Hair Pin typology in Group 7: Human Hand Heads. These are found across the Empire. The hand usually holds a sub-spherical object, variously identified as an egg, pomegranate or apple, but in this example, the spherical object is missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy furniture mount of escutcheon of post-medieval date. The mount has an irregular foliate form and is etched with a central four petalled flower within a lozenge border of incised circles. Two foliate terminals survive with etched foliate decoration, within one terminal a circular rivet hole for attachment remains. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a mid brownish-green colour and is slightly worn. The mount is 52.6mm long, 32.5mm wide, 1.5mm thick and weighs 8.1g. Fragment of a Post-Medieval copper alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell. Almost the half of the lower hemisphere and a part of the joining rib and the upper hemisphere have been preserved. The bottom of the lower part is decorated with a double circular line surrounded by sunbursts. Inside the two circular lines are four transversal and parallel grooves.

A cast copper alloy pin dating from the Medieval period. It has a circular head created by winding five turns of copper wire around the upper end of the shaft, giving the head a grooved appearance. The shaft is narrow and of the same diameter for much of its length, tapering only to a point at the end. As is often the case with these pins, it is bent in the middle of the shaft. The total length of the shaft is 72.6mm; the head is 6.8mm in diameter. The pin weighs 2.87gm. Pins of similar construction are illustrated in Egan & Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories c1150-c1450, page 301.

A fragment of a copper alloy Medieval purse frame. The outer part is flat-sectioned and the edge is decorated with a band bearing a motif of wavy lines. The inner part is decorated with a border of "interlinked V". On the back, there is a circular ridge. Outer part thickness: 1.5mm. Inner edge thickness: 3.5mm.

A pair of copper alloy tweezers. They are constructed from a thick strip of copper alloy sheet, folded in the centre to create a rounded suspension loop, and have a pair of blades tapering outwards to slightly flared ends. The ends are curved inwards at a 45 degree angle like pincers. There is no decoration. Tweezers of this design are difficult to date precisely and were in use from Roman to Medieval times. A complete cast copper-alloy flanged axehead of early Bronze Age date. It has a thin, rounded butt, with almost straight sides before expanding to a flared blade. The axe thins smoothly from the centre to the blade at one end and butt at the other, with raised flanges on either side on both faces which are now damaged and worn, giving an H-shaped section. A cast, copper alloy Roman nail cleaner dating from AD43-200, Crummy type 2a. The blade is of a pointed leaf shape, tapering gently from rounded shoulders to two points. The division between the points continues up one side of the blade as a central groove; the other side is unmarked. There is a circular suspension loop, set at right angles to the blade and separated from it by a baluster moulding. The nail cleaner has a smooth, dark brown patina.
