An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of Early-medieval date. The head of the pin is all that remains and is circular in both plan and section. A slight medial ridge is present around the circumference and the globular head tapers into the beginnings of the shaft. The shaft proper has been lost to old breaks. The metal has a dark brownish-green patina and is worn. The pinhead is 13.4mm long, 9.4mm in diameter and weighs 3.1g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of early-medieval date. The strap end is of Thomas' Class A with zoomorphic terminal thought the degree of wear makes ascribing an exact Type difficult. The strap end is a pointed oval in shape with a zoomorphic terminal at the closed end and an irregular worn break at the opposite end. TREASURE CASE : 2012 T341. The hoard contains a total of 66 coins, most of which are damaged to varying extents. They were found in two batches. Batch One: The coins were found in a roll at a depth of c. ten inches, leaving no doubt that the coins all represent a single group, presumably originally representing a rouleau of coins held together in a piece of cloth or leather. The coins were delivered to the FLO for North Yorkshire on May 10th, and to the British Museum on May 11th. An incomplete cast copper alloy pin head of Early-medieval date. The pin head is globular with parallel spiral grooves around its surface. Below the head, where it meets the shaft, is a small collar. The shaft itself is circular in section and tapers slightly towards a worn break. The metal has a mid brownish-red patina and is worn. The pin is 26.9mm long, 8.1mm in diameter at the head, 1.5mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 2.6g.

Copper alloy penannular brooch of Dickinson's Group G1.7 (Dickinson 1982, 49, Fig. 4. The ring is round sectioned and undecorated with two flattened, lozenge shaped terminals each of which bears an incised ring on one face. The pin is made from a strip of sheet metal, one end of which is wrapped around the ring. It is hog-backed, pushed down into the brooch's ring. An incomplete cast copper alloy probable brooch fragment of early-medieval date. The mount is sub-square in plan and is decorated on one face with a central ring-and-dot design around which are four more of the same - one in each corner. Between these features are small squares consisting of four smaller raised squares. The reverse is flat and undecorated though appears to bear the remains of a square mount in one corner. The metal has a shiny dark reddish-brown patina and survives in good condition. The fragment is 23.2mm long, 23mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 4.5g.

The outer edge of the frame is swollen and undecorated with no recess for the pin. Two bulbous knops are present where the frame and strap bar meet. The metal has a mid reddish-green colour and is worn. The buckle is 17.8mm long, 13.7mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 2g.

The reverse is undecorated with one worn lug where a hinged pin would have been affixed. The central plate is square in plan, the edges are marked by incised lines but is otherwise undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of Early-Medieval date. The head of the pin is all that remains which is sub-circular in plan and section. Four flattened circular facets are present spaced irregularly around the circumference of the pinhead. The bas of the pinhead is worn with traces of possible solder. The metal has a dark blackish-brown patina and is coated in a powdery white substance. The pinhead is 7.9mm tall, 8.1mm in diameter and weighs 3.4g. A similar pin head can be seen on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database: Unique ID: NCL-94DF63.

A complete cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount of Early-medieval date. The strap mount is of Williams' Class A, Type 10C being sub-triangular in plan. The outer face is decorated with a moulded design of a coiled and interlaced quadruped with head raised upwards at the rectangular apex. The bottom corners of the mount extend out into rounded projections above which are two holes for attachment. The reverse of the mount is concave and undecorated. The metal has a dark greenish-red patina and is slightly worn. The mount is 53.8mm long, 31.5mm wide, 6.7mm thick and weighs 23.7g.

A complete polychrome glass bead of Early Anglo-Saxon date. The bead is of Brugmann's 'Dot34' type, circular in plan with a flat top and bottom and a central circular perforation. The body of the bead is a light brownish-white opaque glass, and it is decorated with blue glass trails in an irregular wavering pattern forming six triangles, each with a dot of red glass.
