An extremely worn copper-alloy coin, probably an Iron Age uninscribed bronze unit, c. 60-20 BC. Both surfaces of the coin are severely abraded and there are circumferential losses making a positive identification difficult. It is likely that this coin is either of the 'Chichester Cock' or 'Chichester Horse' type; cf. ABC, p. 56, nos. 737 and 740. It is possible to discern circular elements of the helmeted head on the obverse and an elongated body with lines radiating outward, similar to both cock and horse on these reverse types.
