A silver William III sixpence, 3rd bust fashioned into a love token. This custom was very fashionable during the 17th-18th Century. It is usual for most if not all detail to be polished or linished off the coin leaving virtually a blank disc. To complete the token approximately 1/3 of each side of the coin is bent to form a shallow 'S' shape. The token's dimensions are 20.92 mm in diameter and 0.81mm thick. The token weighs 2.21g.
