A complete, Medieval-Post Medieval, crudely cast, copper alloy, 'mystery' or 'annular' ring. It is a fair size, slightly irregular, annular ring of variable thickness with a flatterned sexfoil cross-section. There are bevelled, inside and outside unfettled edges and feint hand file finishing marks. The ring has some wear, mainly dark brown matt surfaces but some pale green areas of corrosion possibly due to being found in water logged ground conditions. Ref. A crude moulded lead weight, probably a spindle whorl, of uncertain date. The whorl is sub-circular and flat on the top and the bottom although the poor moulding has left it quite uneven. It has a circular hole which is slightly off centre and measures approximately 9.5 mm in diameter. The spindle whorl measures 30.67 mm in diameter, 12.47 mm thick and weighs 65.5 grams. It has a pale grey patina.

A fairly crude moulded lead spindle whorl, of uncertain date. The whorl is sub-circular in plan and plano-convex in profile, with a rounded top and flat bottom. It has a circular hole which is slightly off centre and measures approximately 10 mm in diameter. The spindle whorl measures 26.18 mm in diameter, 5.52 mm thick and weighs 18.5 grams. It has a much abraded pale cream coloured patina.

A complete cast lead weight of uncertain date. The weight is conical with a wide circular base which tapers to a narrow apex. A central perforation runs longitudinally through the weight. There are no marks or decoration present on the object and there are no signs of an attachment loop. The metal is a light brownish-white colour and is worn. The weight is 15.1mm tall, 14.2mm in diameter at the base and weighs 14.2g. Due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely and may date from the Roman to post-medieval periods.

A circular sectioned shaft protects off-centrally from the base of the pin head and tapers to a worn break. The shaft is bent and twisted. An incomplete ,cast lead alloy token of uncertain date. A roughly circular lead alloy disc, which has a crudely cast "M "or an "E" like design on one surface. The reverse side is blank , and the token has begun to degrade around its circumference. It measures 22.3mm in diameter,has a thickness of 5.7mm, and weighs 7.5g. it is suggested that the token could be of Roman date however tokens of this type are hard to date with certainty, so broader dates have been given in the record.

The weight has a circular shape, fairly flat, although one side is slightly thicker than the other. There is a feint crease across the middle where it was slightly bent by the plough and a small, off centre triangular indentation on one side. A very large lead alloy weight or possible anchor of unknown date. It is a flat, seven sided slab of lead alloy with an irregular circular hole though it. There are deep scratches on one face. It is 168mm by 160mm in plan, 50mm thick and weighs 6.5kg. This find is clearly a weight designed to hang from an attachment through the hole. The finder interprets it as an anchor because the area where it was found was a 500 acre lake before it was drained in the 17th century. Conical cast lead weight of unknown date. It has a hole through the centre running from top to bottom. The sides are irregular with several indents and there is an irregular raised border around the bae. It is 24.4mm long, 22.6mm wide and 13.05mm thick. It weighs 31.38 grams. Plain weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval. Although lead spindle whorls can be similar in general form the irregularity of this example makes it unlikely it was used as a whorl.

10 fragments of tile of uncertain date. Two fragments are distinctly curved, probably from roof tiles, and all are bright brick red, but the fabrics vary. One has lenses of white clay and pink clay, and large lumps of white clay. Others are a more uniform orange colour throughout. Some have quartz inclusions. Some are darker red with small black inclusions. Many are sanded on one face. They are all 13 - 18mm thick. The tiles could date from the Roman, Medieval or Post Medieval periods.

A complete glass bead of uncertain date. The bead is circular in plan with a central circular perforation. The glass is a mid blue colour and survives in good condition with only a few small scratches. The bead is 9.3mm in diameter, 6.6mm thick and weighs 0.7g. Glass beads are very difficult to date with any certainty therefore due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely and it could be Roman through to modern in date.
