Medieval silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307) or a continental sterling imitation, possibly class 3cd or 2a, mint unclear, 1279 - 1290 AD, North (1991:28) no.1014 or 1018/1019. The coin is extreamly worn and slightly damaged down one side. There appears to be a lombadic n on the obverse but due to the wear on the coin this is uncertain..
