A worn but complete Roman nummus, probably of Constantius II as Caesar (c. 323-336 AD). Reverse type dates to c. 324-330 AD. Mint mark: [?C]ON[S].

Reverse: camp gate, two turrets, no doors; star above, six stone layers

Discussion: The mint is uncertain; possibly Lyon, however, the remains of the mint suggest 'ON' indicating that the mint was meant to be CONST or a variation such as CONS or CONSA, which could suggest Arles, as it was …
