A complete Post Medieval copper alloy hooked strap fitting possibly from a sword belt. This fitting has a flat body that is triangular (kite shaped) in plan, with a lobe at the top. The tapered hook is oval in cross section and is bent in the same plain as the body (turned to the observers left, in the same plane as the body). There are the stumps of two square section iron rivots, one above the other along the central axis of the body. These would have held the fitting to the leather belt. A cast copper alloy trumpet brooch. The head has no wings and in plan is a horizontal oval; it is undecorated. The upper edge has a trace of a decorated integral perforated lug (headloop). The decoration is in the form of horizontal ridges. On the reverse of the bow head there are two vertical sub-oval integral lugs with a central perforation. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy asymmetrical buckle with a tinned surface and one rectangular and one D shaped loop. The outer edge of the D shaped loop is slightly narrower and the strap bar is narrowed and the pin is missing. It measures 34.85 mm in length, 23.47 mm wide and 2.73 mm thick. It weighs 4.5 grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar, simple buckle (p90, no.561) which he dates to c.1575-1700 AD

A slightly corroded single-looped cast copper-alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is of oval form with a pin bar that is neither offset nor narrowed as is common. The pin is missing. A corroded cast copper-alloy post-medieval double-looped buckle frame, incomplete in as much it is missing its pin. The pin bar extends beyond the edges in pointed lobes. The reverse is flat, and the frame bevelled internally and externally on its upper surface. This latter is decorated on each outer edge by a very worn five-petalled rosette with three outer petals and three inner. A copper-alloy sub-rectangular strap loop with separate internal single rivet (now missing) of Medieval date, c.1350-1400. Weight is 2.88g, maximum width at front of loop is 22.28mm, minimum width at rear of loop is 20.27mm. Length is 4.61mm. Depth from front to rear is 15.54mm. The front of the frame has a 'D' shaped cross section and thickness of 2.75mm the rear and sides of the loop have a rectangular to sub-rectangular cross section. A fragment of a copper-alloy socketed sickle blade of Bronze Age date. Weight is 12.08g, length of the fragment is 46.69mm, width is 16.73mm and thickness is 3.59mm. The cross section is oval or a sub lozenge. The edges are quite chewed, but Cyril Fox lists parallels from the River Thames (Tilehurst, Berks.; Plate XXIV, no 5), Norwich (Norfolk, Plate XXVI, no. 12) which have a similar straight blade.
