A Medieval to post-Medieval leg/foot from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel (c. AD 1250-c. 1650).
The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. The front of the leg has a central vertical rib which is flanked on either side by a vertical groove. The bulbous foot projects forwards.
This leg/foot has an olive green patina. At the top there is a transverse break and at the side of the foot there is a small break.
46.58 x 21.23 x 11.47mm. Weight: 49.25g.
