A Medieval silver coin; a clipped penny of Edward IV (1461 - 1483), dating from 1464 - 1483, issued at the York mint probably under Archbishop George Neville. The details are not visible, so it is not possible to assign the coin to a specific class or North number. There is a G and a key by the shoulders of the bust, and a quatrefoil at the centre of the reverse, but the initial mark is not visible. The coin has been double struck.

The coin is worn and damaged, and also clipped, with approximately 1/3 of the coin missing, making a certain identification impossible. There is probably an E to the left of the neck.
