Weight is 5.53g, length 35.91mm, maximum width 27.80mm, thickness 1.98mm. The attachment loop is rectangular with a width of 12.29mm. The upper surface is decorated with an incised foliate design.

It measures 49.30mm in length, 48.02mm in width, 3.24mm in thickness and 30.78g in weight. This fragment is of probable Medieval date, c.14th-15th centuries AD, if not slightly later.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, possibly the bow from a Roman Aesica brooch. The surviving fragment is sub-rectangular in form, curved in profile and with a curving V-shaped section. A worn cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. The frame is annular in form with moulded decoration comprising a foliate outer edge and transverse grooves on the front face that give the buckle a five petalled flower form. At the centre of the frame is an integrally cast bar that is triangular in section and has a slight pin constriction at its centre. A complete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The object is a double looped annular buckle with two oblique projections extending from one loop, each decorated with three incised transverse grooves. The strap bar is narrowed and has been bent into a semi-circle. The metal has a light brownish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 39.9mm long, 29.1mm wide, 3.3mm thick and weighs 7.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.46, no.268 and is dated to circa AD 1400 - 1500.
