An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, possibly the bow from a Roman Aesica brooch. The surviving fragment is sub-rectangular in form, curved in profile and with a curving V-shaped section. At one end (top?) it terminates in old breaks and at the other turns inwards at an angle of 90 degrees where the fragment narrows to an incomplete rectangular shaft. An incomplete cast copper-alloy spur of Post-Medieval date. Part of one arm survives intact, as well as part of the terminal, the remainder missing due to old breaks. The frame is annular in form with moulded decoration comprising a foliate outer edge and transverse grooves on the front face that give the buckle a five petalled flower form.
