A lithic implement dating from the Neolithic to mid-Bronze Age. The object is thumb-nail shaped in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The dorsal (upper) face has several depressions and nicks which may be due to natural weathering. Some retouch is visible on the outer edge. The ventral (lower) face is rough and uneven with numerous nicks. It is likely that the damage occurred naturally and it may have been a piece of flint knapping waste which was lightly re-touched and used. The implement is made from a pinkish brown coloured flint.

An incomplete vessel fragment dating to the Medieval period. The fragment is part of the body of the vessel and is curved in profile. The internal face is a reddish brown while the external face is glazed with a patchy white and green glaze. The internal fabric is compact with no inclusions and is brown. The object is decorated with a thumb print which may have occurred while pressing on the handle.

An incomplete vessel fragment dating to the Medieval period. The object is a rim fragment of a lid-seated jar. The object has a sub-rectangular outer rim and a raised internal ridge which would have supported a lid giving it a Y-shaped profile. Below the rim on the outer face are two parallel ridges. The outer face is pinkish orange in colour with patches of mid-green glaze. The internal face has a mid-green matt glaze. The internal fabric is compact with no inclusions and is mid-brown in colour.

The object has been pierced with a large perforation on one edge and a small perforation on the opposite edge. The object has a mid green patina. Similar examples can be found on p214, Mitchiner, vol I, (1988).

Cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period. The frame is sub D-shaped in cross-section. At either end of the strap bar is an oval moulded decoration each side of the strap bar. The remains of an iron pin is attached to the strap bar and is corroded. File marks can be seen on the loop without corrosion. The object has a dark green patina. Examples of similar buckles can be found on p54, Whitehead, (2003). It can be dated from c.1500-1650AD.

At each end of the strap bar are two small grooves on the outer edge of the frame. The buckle can be dated to c.1350-1650. It has a light green patina and shows signs of corrosion.

A Medieval copper alloy cruciform mount (1066-1500). The mount is flat and made from a sheet of copper alloy. It is in the form of an equal-armed cross where each arm expands towards the end, so that each arm resembles a truncated triangle. In the centre of the object is a raised circular rivet the rear of which is missing. A series of punched dots surround the rivet and border each arm of the cross. Within each cross arm are two grooves mirroring the shape of each arm. The rear of the object is undecorated. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition.

An incomplete cast copper alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period. The object is cross-shaped in plan with concave internal corners and two notches in the end of each arm, making them trilobate or pseudo fleuretty. The front of the object is worn and corroded. There is no visible decoration. The rear of the object is plain. A hole is punched in the centre of the object from front to back. Cast copper alloy strap end dating to the Medieval period. The object is rectangular in plan and cross-section. It consists of a single sheet of copper alloy folded length ways and secured with a single rivet at the open end. The rivet is copper alloy and remains in-situ. A small fragment of possible leather remains between within the object. Each face of the object is undecorated. It has a mid-green patina. Similar examples of can be found in Egan and Pritchard, (1991), p131. The object can be dated to the 14th century.

A lead alloy pot mend dating from the Medieval to Post-Medieval period. The object is oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. It is comprised of two large oval discs joined by a thick central shank and was used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. The gap between the two plates is narrow and contains ceramic material of a dark orange coloured fabric. The lead has a dark brownish white patina.

Incomplete cast copper Jews (or jaws) harp dating to the Post-Medieval period. The head of the object is oval in plan and lozenge shaped in cross-section. The arms are missing. Although the iron spring strip is missing, there is a depression visible on the oval head where it was once attached. File marks are visible on each face of the object. It has a dark green patina. Similar examples which can be found on the database are LVPL-D18B23 and LVPL-EE8CD1 Jews harps were current from the Medieval period right up until the 18th century, but Medieval examples are rare.
