A silver Medieval coin; a round half penny probably of Henry VI (1422 - 1461), Clais mint, but the coin is very worn and hardly any details are visible. The coin is unusual in appearing to have "VILL" all in one quarter on the reverse. See Withers page 44 - 47 of Halfpennies and Farthings; Henry IV, V and VI.

A Post Medieval silver coin; a damaged half penny of Henry VII (1485 - 1509), probably Withers' class 3 with a single arched crown and the reverse cross is a cross fourchee. It was minted at London. See North Volume II number 1734 and Withers' Halfpennies and farthings of Edward IV - Henry VII page 43 onwards. The edges of the coin are damaged and much of the legend is missing.
