A complete and corroded post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked mount (c. AD 1550-c. 1650). The mount is convex at the front and partially concave at the rear. It is sub-trapezoidal in plan with a small 'U'-shaped incurve at the centre of the upper edge. The sides taper towards the rearwards projecting hook which is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. Two rivet holes, one close to the upper edge and the other just below the centre of the plate, are both filled with the remains of an iron rivet. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy strap fitting, probably related to a sword belt (c. AD 1500-c. 1700). This fitting comprises a flat oval body with the stub of a hook at one end and an incomplete loop at the opposite end. At the front it is decorated with two parallel horizontal grooves. There is a circular off-centre hole adjacent to the grooves. The rear surface is plain. This surface of this object is orangey brown and has traces of a light green patina on both faces. An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-Medieval hooked strap fitting for a sword belt (c. AD 1500-c. 1650). The mount consists of a domed oval plate, 22.61mm in length with a maximum width of 23.77mm. The plate is concave on the reverse. It has a flat sub-circular terminal at one end and the stub of a hook at the opposite end. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy strap slide (c. 1150-c. 1400 AD). The slide consists of a single rectangular loop, oval in cross-section. It has a pair of opposed internal abraded projections about mid-way along the sides of the frame. A complete and misshapen cast copper-alloy strap slide (c. 1600-c. 1700 AD). Prior to being misshapen, the fitting was sub-rectangular in plan and is rectangular in cross-section. At the front, the sides are lobed mid-way along its length and they are concave above and below the lobes. The rear face has parallel sides. An incomplete post-Medieval strap fitting of two elements (c. 1500-c. 1700 AD) The main element is flat at the front and back and has triangular openwork at the centre. At the front, the inner and outer edges are bevelled. There is an incomplete, free running looped pin or rivet which is sub-oval in cross-section. The main element has a green patina and the rear face is coarser than the front. The pin or rivet has no patina and is mainly covered with copper-alloy corrosion products. 14.92 x 14.64 x 1.57mm. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (c. 1230-c. 1400 AD). The frame is sub-square in plan and the outer edge (or top) is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. The remaining three parts of the frame are rectangular in cross-section. At the outer edge it has a transverse groove at each end and a pair of transverse grooves at the centre. An incomplete object, possibly a mini-terret of Late Iron Age or Early Roman date (c. 200 BC-c./ AD 100). The piece consists of part of the frame and a small portion of the bar. The frame is largely sub-triangular in cross-section and the bar is circular in cross-section. From the break on the frame, it expands in width and thickness towards its junction with the bar. It has patches of a mid-brown patina which is shiny on the inside. Otherwise, the surfaces are corroded and light green. The two breaks are old and abraded. 32.69 x 20.03 x 10.08mm. Weight: 14.83g.

From the narrow broken end the plate flares out to a width of 14.12mm and then tapers to form a waist with a width of 8.87mm. A post-medieval cast copper-alloy 'S'-shaped strap or belt fastener (c. 1575-c. 1800 AD). The fastener has two swan or serpent head terminals with necks that curve to form hooks. Each head has a finely moulded beak and eyes, and patterning on the neck possibly represent feathers or scales. The necks narrow below the heads before expanding towards the centre of the fastener.
