A fragment of a set of copper-alloy tweezers, probably dating to the Roman or the early Medieval period. One arm and the loop have been broken and are now lost. The surviving arm is sub rectangular in plan, the sides gradually flaring towards the bottom, where the end has been bent inwards. At the narrowest end is most of a curved loop. The object is bent with some corrosion. The object is 3.7g in weight, measuring 69.2mm long, 7.95mm at the widest point and 1.18mm thick. See Crummy, N.
