Head and upper part of the bow of a devolved T-shaped brooch of local type with a flat expanded head plate. The head plate is now damaged with most of the outer edge missing to very corroded breaks but was probably fan shaped (D-shaped) . Along the straight lower edge of the plate is a cylinder with a central slot. The cylinder held the bar on which the pin hinged, pivoting in the slot. One end is damaged and it is now 23.9mm long. There is iron corrosion visible in the slot and the ends of the cylindrical wings suggesting the hinge was made of iron. The pin is missing. The bow extend…

This brooch is formed of a complete head, bow and catchplate, although both the spring and pin are absent. The head of this brooch is expanded to a form resembling the bell of a trumpet (measuring 14.2mm in length, by 20.5mm in width), which is concave on the underside to situate the spring. A single flat in section lug remains, which is 'D' shaped as viewed from the side, whilst a small rectangular projection extends from the top of the head away from the…

A slightly worn and corroded 4th-century copper-alloy Roman nummus of Crispus, BEATA TRANQVILLITAS reverse, possibly Trier Mint, (AD 317-326, Reece issue period 16).
Although the mint is missing from this coin, due to circumferential loss, the combination of legends with altar inscription and surmounting triple stars suggests that this coin is most similar to that of RIC VII, p191, No. 307, dating to AD 321 and originating from the Trier Mint.
