White Metal possible coin. Material is either silver or lead. The only discernible feature is a set of four parallel lines of uneven length on one side of the coin. These might hint at a legionary denarius.
Cliff Reeves kindly examined this heavily cleaned object, opining that it may either be an early [Republican] Denarius, or possibly a forgery. The latter class might include recently manufactured 'coins'. Suggested date: Either Early Roman, circa 50 BC to AD 200, or possibly Modern, 2000-2010.
