A fragment of a copper-alloy socketed sickle blade of Bronze Age date. Weight is 12.08g, length of the fragment is 46.69mm, width is 16.73mm and thickness is 3.59mm. The cross section is oval or a sub lozenge. The edges are quite chewed, but Cyril Fox lists parallels from the River Thames (Tilehurst, Berks.; Plate XXIV, no 5), Norwich (Norfolk, Plate XXVI, no. 12) which have a similar straight blade. Spearhead, plain leaf-shaped head, wings ribless with no grooves, and loops low down on the socket. Length 175 mm, maximum width of blade 58 mm, maximum diameter of shaft 20 mm, maximum width of loops 26 mm. The golden colour suggests it may be have been deposited in a wet context, rather than in peat where a black/brown patina might be expected (see Fontijn 2002, pp.40-41). Greenwell & Brewis (1909) Type IV, probably corresponding to Needham's (1996) Period 5, Pennard metalworking phase, dating to the Middle Bronze Age, c. 1500-1150 BC, or possibly early Late Bronze Age.

An incomplete knapped lithic arrowhead of Bronze Age date. The object is triangular in plan with two notches in the base between the central tang and a barb to either side. The surface has been invasively retouched. The tip of one barb has been lost. The flint is a mid brownish-black colour. This arrowhead is of Green's 'Sutton type C' and dates to circa 2000 - 1500 BC.

A corroded and abraded cast copper-alloy flat axehead of Early Bronze Age date. This small example is from the earliest bronze working traditions, dating from the centuries after c. 2000 BC. The blade terminates in a rounded cutting edge. Bevelling to create the edge is gradual. Beyond the edge the object narrows to a width of 16.65mm and is at its thickest, 7.6mm. A corroded and worn fragment of a middle to late Bronze Age copper-alloy rapier blade, dating to c.1300 BC - 900 BC. The fragment is broadly rectangular in plan but tapers slightly throughout, and is lentoid in section with very narrowed edges. These edges are worn and chipped and possibly not indicative of the original cutting edges. This blade fragment measures 28.5mm long, 25.3mm wide, 5.4mm thick and weighs 16.38 grams.

There are no collars or other decoration on the surface which is badly corroded and pitted. The socket is sub-rectangular in shape. It measures 81.53mm in length, 21.89mm in width, 17.65mm in thickness and weighs 158.57g. It is similar to others recorded on the database, for example HAMP-1F3730 and LANCUM-2C7E41.

The septum is 3.8mm thick at the butt, 5.6mm thick at maximum, 14.4mm wide before the stop and c.47mm long. There are air bubbles at the junction of the septum and stop on both sides.
