A Mesolithic flint core. The core has been damaged in the soil, probably by the plough. Certain flakes many have been removed from the core as a result of this action. The core has a large striking platform, which shows evidence of having been prepared. Small notches have been removed from around the edge of the platform to allow the flint knapper to remove smaller blade shaped flakes from the core. Two fragments one is 27.5mm by 29.9mm by 14.2mm wide, the other is 30.3mm by 22mm by 10.2mm wide. Both are dark brown, number of flakes removed over the whole of the surface, small part of the cortex remains on each, no clear working surface.

A flint tool, possibly an unfinished side scraper with one arrise and retouch along part of the right edge of the dorsal surface. It dates from the Mesolithic to Bronze Age periods (8300-800 BC. It is pale-mid grey with patches of cream.

Sub-rectangular flint tranchet adze or axe. Both surfaces bear many flake scars and ridges as well as numerous areas with rippling although one is not so heavily worked as the other. The flint is yellow/green in colour. A very nice example of the type.

Three blades, one is white, flakes struck off on three plains, cortex on the reverse, the end is rounded but probably due to later damage (length 31.6mm). Brown flint with white speckles, flakes struck off on three plains, cortex on one side, retouch on the other (length 35,4mm). Grey flint flakes struck off on two plains (length 31.1mm).
