A plated silver Roman denarius with copper-alloy core of Galba, c.68-69 AD. A contemporary copy with a reverse type of Vespasian. Reverse: IVDAEA, Judaea seated right mourning at foot of trophy. This coin would have been struck in the reign of Vespasian after the IVDAEA reverse type was introduced. It is not uncommon to find plated copies with obverses and reverses from different reigns. However, copies with the obverse of Galba are rare, probably because the prototypes are scarce in the first place.

An incomplete silver Roman denarius, probably of AD first or second century date. The legend is worn and cannot be determined and the fragmentary nature of the coin makes identifying the emperor problematic. The apparent lack of a beard may suggest a first century or early second century date.
