The object is a leg from a cast copper alloy vessel which is thought to date to the 13th to 17th centuries AD. The rest of the object is missing. In plan the object is sub-rectangular with an uneven upper edge where the object has broken away from the now missing vessel. The sides of the leg are straight, flaring out at the base to the now missing foot. In cross-section the object is sub-triangular, with a flat reverse and a single median rib, approximately 11.0mm wide, which runs longitudinally down the front of the leg. Two cast copper alloy vessel legs, from two separate vessels which are thought to date to the 13th to 17th centuries AD. 1(On the left): Cast copper alloy vessel leg which is trapezoid shaped in cross-section, with a flat front face and alternate angled sides which taper inwards to a flat and narrower reverse face. The leg is undecorated. The base of the leg flares out to form a very angular, trapezoid shaped foot, which is much thicker than the leg. Copper-alloy disc brooch, length 41mm, width 39mm, thickness 11mm, weight 13.32g. The brooch is a slightly uneven oval, made from sheet copper alloy only 1mm thick. Running around the circumference of the face is an incised line 3mm from the edge; there is also a ring and dot in the centre. All have been cut or carved into the surface. A cast copper alloy Roman bust. The bust depicts a human head and shoulders and is D shaped in section. The shoulders are a simple semi-circular shape with a horizontal groove to suggest clothing. Two fragments of a probable skillet handle thought to date to the 13th to 17th centuries AD. As an example Margeson (Margeson, S. 1993 Norwich Households: Medieval and Post Medieval Finds from Norwich Survey, Excavations 1971-78. East Anglian Archaeology 58) illustrates a skillet handle (fig. 57; no.562) which is almost identical to the recorded example. Cast copper alloy mount, diameter 39mm, thickness 8.5mm, weight 16.42g. The mount has a circular diameter and is slightly domed in cross section, outside edge is 1m thick the centre is 4mm thick.
