The matrix has a central design of a bird, wings spread, facing right (in impression). The central design is surrounded by the legend +SIGIL--O--I S'FIL---O---R. The reverse is plain. It has a diameter of 35.1mm, is 40.1mm long including the suspension loop, 5.6mm thick and weighs 29 grams. The seal is damaged, and has been bend in half (now straightened).

An almost complete cast copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount of Medieval date, probably thirteenth or fourteenth century (AD 1200 - AD 1400). Length: 43.0mm; width: 41.9mm and 6.8mm thick. Weight: 9.03g. The mount has three similar arms of equal size and one of a pair of suspension loops together forming a cross shape (the left horizontal arm is bent back behind the vertical arm). An incomplete cast copper alloy Dolphin brooch of Roman, first century date (AD 43 – AD 100). Length: 18.2mm; width: 21.1mm and 8.9mm thick. Weight: 5.02g. Part of the wings and the lower part of the bow, including the catch-plate, are missing due to old breaks. The pin is also missing. The fully enclosed (tubular) wings have a maximum width of 21.1mm although they were originally wider prior to being corroded and damaged. A fragment of a cast copper alloy and tinned Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) brooch of late fifth to sixth century (c. AD 475 - c. AD 600). Length: 20.0mm; width: 15.8mm and 5.6mm thick. Weight: 2.68g. The fragment is probably part of the foot of a small-long brooch or the foot of a radiate-headed brooch. It has old transverse breaks at either end. Silver finger ring height 22mm, width 20mm, thickness 2mm. The wing is made from a length of silver wire that has been looped twice round to form a double band. The wire has a square cross-section, its evenness along its length suggests it has been drawn rather than hammered.
