A Medieval finger ring, the hoop of D section. This is decorated on the internal and external surfaces with flowers and leaves, interspersed with the words of an inscription in French in black-letter lower-case letters. On the outside this reads + tant que murai and on the inside + vouz ceroire. This is likely to mean "Until I die I will be yours". This sentiment suggests that the ring may originally have served as a marriage ring. The finger ring is gold and dates from the late fourteenth or the fifteenth century. Treasure number 2007 T639 Post Medieval gold finger ring: The ring is squashed and damaged, now a flattened oval measuring 21.67mm by 11.36mm wide. The band is 3.13mm wide, 1.42mm thick. It weighs 2.45 grams. British Museum Report: This ring is very damaged and the surface much worn. There appear to be traces of an inscription but it is not legible. 2007 T450 The British Museum Curator's report describes the object as: "Small decorative stud, probably part of a drop-style earring imitating Roman examples. A circular convex rosette has a central protruding knop and is surrounded by a flat circular strip. A border surrounds this and has been marked with indents to give the appearance of beaded wire. The piece is surmounted by three small flattened knops, each with a similar border as the main section. This is typical of 19th-century archaeological jewellery and is therefore not Treasure. N. An Iron Age gold coin; a British North Eastern (Corieltavian) uninscribed stater ("South Ferriby type") dating from c.50 - 20BC. The coin has a diameter of 16mm and weighs 5.6g. There is an abstract wreath design on the obverse, and an abstract horse on the reverse. It is in very good condition. For reference see Van Arsdell 811, Hobbs 3152, and a close parallel with possible die links is number 01.0346 on the Celtic Coin Index.

This gold posy ring with d-shaped hoop has a plain exterior and is inscribed on the inside in lower case: "My happie choyce eT only ioy". A similar inscription is recorded by Joan Evans in English Posies and Posy Rings (1931), but this reads "My hapie choys my secret ioy" and Evans does not give a dated source for it. This is a type which continued into the 18th century, and as it stands there is not enough evidence to confirm that it is pre-1707.

Four coins reported found on the site of a previous find of similar coins. These coins are all gold doblas of Peter or Pedro I, King of Castile ('Pedro the Cruel'), who reigned 1350-69. All the coins were struck at the Seville mint, the main mint of Castile. They are of good weight and are in generally good condition, with slight indications of wear, so they have seen some currency.
