A lead alloy musket ball. The shot is Spherical .it has a diameter of 15.0mm.the ball has a pitted surface .the colour of the ball is light grey.the ball has a small cut mark .the patina is poor. It is post medieval and probably dates from 1644. Musket balls are discussed in Courtney's "Small Arms Accessories of the Mid-Seventeenth Century" (1988) and on page 202 of "Material Culture in London in an Age of Transition" by Geoff Egan (2005).

Copper alloy key for a barrel padlock. The object has shank that is rectangular in section, with a flat-sectioned area in the centre. The terminal shows signs of a broken loop for suspension. The head was probably once circular in plan (this disc being at a right angle to the shank; the head is now folded in half, leaving a semi-circle atop the shank. In Britain, the height of the popularity of barrel padlocks was c. 1300-1600

Cast copper alloy snake form belt hook, including one cast copper alloy strap fitting with a lion's head. There are traces of gilding remaining on both segments of the object. The strap fitting has an oval-planned body, domed, with a moulded lion's head set in border of incised, slanting lines. There is a rectangular tag for attaching a strap to one side of the head. A cast copper alloy finger ring, with a thin D-shaped section. The ring has a diameter of 22.3mm and is 4.9mm thick. The upper and lower borders of the finger ring are beaded and are stepped in. The main body of the ring is decorated with three sets of letters. The letter sets each seem to be nonsensical groups of lines, and two of the sets have a star at one end. This finger ring is similar to PAS database record numbers SUSS-3CFCF1, SUSS-3D2CD1, SUSS-9BAEF6 and SUSS-9BD050. A lead alloy button which probably dates from the late medieval period or early post medieval period. The button has a flat back and a domed front with a four petalled flower design in the centre. There is a rib across the back and a circular loop on a short stem. The button has a diameter of 12.9mm and is 15.2mm thick. For reference see Bailey, 2004, page 25. The button has a mid grey patina and is in good condition for a lead button.

An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag which is 24.4mm long, 14.9mm wide and 1.6mm thick at the hook. The tag has a rectangular loop at one end, a sub-rectangular openwork body decorated with a thistle motif, and the stub of a hook projecting at the other end. The tag is very worn, especially the rectangular loop. Hooked tags are believed to date from the late medieval and early post medieval period (Egan, 2005). A very similar example is number 153 on page 44 of "Material Culture in London in an Age of Transition" by Egan (2005).See also Read 2008 page 104 plate 402-3.

Two cast copper alloy bar mounts with central and terminal lobes. Each object has two separate rivets still attached, one in each terminal lobe. The central lobes of both mounts are decorated with incised cross-hatching; this survives more visibly on the longer of the two mounts. One mount measures 18.4mm in length, 19mm wide, 4.1mm thick and 1.73g. The other mount measures 21mm long, 8mm wide, 2.7mm thick and 1.42g.
