PAS-RC07 Grid F4 Thirteen sherds from Severn Valley coarseware pottery vessels, including one rim. As the fabric, colour and thickness differs in each sherd it is likely that different vessels are represented in the assemblage. Not enough survives of the sherds to indicate the form or overall vessel size. The sherds date from the Roman period (50 - 410). Medieval or Post Medieval?? lead alloy vessel, 35mm in diameter and 15mm high. The object is in fair condition and weighs 27.64grams. The object has a small circular base and gently sloping sides. Its lip is decorated with raised semi-spherical knops. Its shape is reminiscent of stacking weights, although its surface isn't regular enough for this function?

PAS-RC07 Grid F4 Three body sherds of black burnished type pottery. They have a black fabric with some oxidation in the core. The fabric is hard with quartz and mica inclusions. All the sherds appear to have the same thickness, fabric and colour and therefore it is possible that they are from the same vessel. The largest sherd measures 26.1mm in length, 23.1 mm in width, 7 mm in thickness and weighs 5.9 grams. The smallest sherd measures 26.2 mm in length, 14.9 mm in width, 6 mm in thickness and weighs 2.3 grams. The bulk weight is 12.1 grams.

A fragment of Early Early-Medieval (500-600) copper alloy gilt small square-headed brooch, consisting of the headplate (with single lug to the reverse) and part of the bow. It measures 24.95x18.58x12.76mm and weighs 4.21g. All breaks are ancient. The head plate measures 24.95x13.38x1.85mm (without lug). A post-medieval copper-alloy coin-weight of George III. The coin weight has raised edge around the diameter , and a plain reverse surface. On the obverse side, there is ewer or laver pot, sword and a crowned G. The ewer is a countermark of George III period and of The Worshipful Company of Founders. It would have been stamped by the Beadle of the Company to indicate that the weight had been inspected and passed.
