A pyramidal shaped core dating to the Mesolithic period (6500 - 3500 BC). The core is triangular in profile and irregular in plan. A number of distinct knapping platforms are present and there are several areas of multiple blade removals in a number of different directions .The flint is a light grey colour with a milky white patina and substantial area of cortex. The flint is also very coarse and there are a number of hinge fractures present. The core measures 28.7mm in length, 29.1mm width, is 26.3mm thick and weighs 24.49 grams.

A small (diameter c20mm) stone ball formed out of a hard grey sedimentary stone with visible bedding planes. It was found eroding out of an mid to late mesolithic strata. It has had its sphericity augmented by pecking and rubbing. Its purpose is unknown but it looks like a sling stone. It weighs 7.4 grms. Probably dates to between c8300 to c2900 BC. None of the very scarce comparable records has yet had a purpose ascribed to it. A distinct knapping platform is present on the upper edge of the core with areas of multiple blade removals in a single direction around the edge. The small size of this core suggests that it was discarded as waste. There are areas of hinge fracturing near the base. The flint is a light grey colour. The core measures 25.4mm in length, 22.2mm width, is 20.6mm thick and weighs 14.63 grams.

One fragment of a knapped flint blade and one bladelet or piece of debitage, both probably Mesolithic in date. The bladelet has a bulb of percusison on the ventral face and evidence of previous parallel removals form the same platform on the dorsal face; 0.37 grams. The fragment is the middle section of a blade with clear percussion waves on the ventral face and arises from parallel removals on the dorsal. There are multiple chips from the edges, some of which maybe accidental others may be from deliberate attempts to snap the blade; 0.97 grams. High quality dark grey flint.

Possible flint waste flake with platform preparation. There is a small amount of scaring around the point of percussion, and a large bulb of percussion with radiating ripples along the length of the ventral surface. The dorsal surface is also covered in ripples, and there is one ridge along its length. The distal end is largely covered in natural cortex. It has a 'V' shaped cross section at the proximal end, which becomes rectangular at the distal end. It is 36.58mm long, 44.84mm wide, 10.88mm thick and weighs 18.50 grams.

Multiplatform flint core; flakes have been struck from the flint nodule from 6 different platforms, usually turned through 90 degrees. There is a small amount of cortex surviving on two opposing faces of the flint nodule. The surface is covered in ridges and impact ripples where previous flakes have been removed. It measures 69.38mm by 82.01mm by 46.56mm and weighs 242 grams. The flint is mid grey and has some repatination on the surface.

Although the platform is missing, there is a strong bulb of percussion and conchoidal ripples present on the ventral surface. No signs of retouch or further knapping are visible to suggest that this flake was modified as a tool. It measures 35.37 mm long, 22.75 mm wide, 4.83 mm thick and weighs 6.99 grams.

Mesolithic chert blade core. Flat prepared platform on the top. It is now D shaped in section with a irregular, broken but generally flat back with large removals and accidental breaks and a convex front with evidence for repeated parallel blade removals. The front angles under at c.70-80 degrees to the top. There is an area of cortex still remaining at the distal end. Dark brown chert with white mottles. 39.0mm long, 41.6mm wide and 22.2mm thick, it weighs 43.19 grams.

Fragments of six tertiary chert blades. One proximal end, two middle sections and three distal ends. The blades have neat snaps, and on some, there is clear evidence of deliberate notching. The blades show evidence on the dorsal faces of multiple previous parallel removals. The proximal piece has a clear bulb of percussion. One is in pale buff chert, two in mid-grey chert and three in white mottled chert with small mottles of black and dark grey. They weigh 11.18 grams.

One very small Mesolithic blade core in pale to mid-grey flint. It is conical with a prepared platform at the top and angled sides showing repeated, parallel bladelet removals. One side is still covered in cortex suggesting it is pebble flint. There is also a patch of cortex in the middle of the other side, either from a flaw in the flint or suggesting a very small pebble was used. It is illustrates the intense utilisation of available material. It is 24.1 by 17.5mm across the top and 26.4mm long, it weighs 9.82 grams.

A microlith formed on a bladelet of grey brown flint. The left margin has been abruptly retouched and blunted along its length forming a point at the distal end. The right margin is unretouched and sharp with a small natural nick in the edge. It may have been hafted with the blunt edge set with resin into a groove in a wood or bone tool. Butler(2005) illustrates a small lanceolate piece on page 101, fig 39, 14.
