Lead-alloy heraldic shield. It was originally flat, now a little bent. There is a short crack in the centre which may pierce the whole way through. The shield is roughly triangular, with one straight and two curving edges. It is divided into four quarters. Quarters 1 and 4 (top left and bottom right, as you look at it) contain three lions. Quarters 2 and 3 contain three fleurs-de-lis. There is no obvious means of attachment. These were the arms of England for most of the 15th and 16th centuries.

A lead alloy clothing fastener with a decorated oval plate. This type of fastener is similar to the slightly early dress hooks but lacks a hook and was probably used as an 'eye' for a similar shaped hook. It has a rectangular loop at one end with pierced circular knops below. The oval plate is decorated with three raised concentric beaded oval borders around a central motif. This is unclear but appears to consist of loops or bows with (possibly) floral motifs within. There is a central motif which may be a face. There is a small moulded bi-lobed knop in the centre of each side and anot…
