A complete cast lead trade weight of medieval date. The weight is shield shaped and has a raised design consisting of a central vertical line crossed by three evenly spaced horizontal lines. A triangle of three raised pellets is present at the base of the vertical line and a row of four pellets marks the top of the line. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid brownish-grey colour and is worn. The weight is 60.7mm long, 45mm wide, 7mm thick and weighs 106g. A complete cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan with a flat top and base, rounded, slightly sloping sides and a central perforation. The whorl is undecorated. The metal is a mid whitish-grey colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 28.4mm in diameter, 7.6mm thick and weighs 37.7g. Lead spindle whorls were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty. A complete lead seal of probable medieval date. The seal is circular in plan with irregular edges as a result of the stamped decoration on the upper face. The decoration consists of a raised rectangular element divided into four compartments with an arrow extending centrally from the upper edge. This feature is framed within a border of four raised pellets. The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn. The seal is 28.1mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 10.4g.

A Medieval lead ampulla fragment. It is the lower part of a pouch-shaped vessel, and as such is an oval shape. The obverse has moulded transverse lines decorating a narrow border around the outside edge, and the central field is plain, except for an emblem of a similar pouch shape, shaded with cross-hatching. The reverse has a scallop shell design. The upper part of the ampulla is missing due to old breaks. The object measures 35.54mm in length, 29.71mm in width, 5.62mm in thickness and weighs 27.78g. An incomplete and undatable faceted cone-shaped lead weight with an incomplete triangular projection (2.41mm thick, 6.99mm wide) straddling the width at the wider flat end (9.75x7.44mm), while the opposite end bends to one side (2.52x2.14mm). A complete cast lead rod, probably a pencil of Medieval to post-Medieval date (c. 1200 - c. 1650). This pencil is circular in cross-section, tapering slightly from one end to the other. The narrow end is pared to a point. The wider end expands into a flat irregular shaped head with a large, worn, sub-circular opening through it. It is 42.6mm long, 5.5mm in diameter by the point, the head is 15.2mm wide by 16.9mm long and 5.2mm thick; it weighs 12.42 grams. A medieval lead object, probably a brooch. The frame is oval and has eight survivng perimeter knops in the form of a flower head. The central portion of the brooch is an open oval. The reverse of the perimeter has a series of inward folded lead arms presumably used to hold a backplate. Similar openwork pilgrim brooches with clips on the reverse are illustrated in Spencer 1998, p. 173, no's 195 and 195a. Another broadly similar example is shown in Saunders, P. Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum Medieval Catalogue, part 3, p. 111, no. 58.

A cast lead frame with fragments of glass around the edge of probable Post-medieval date. It is square in shape and rectangular in section and is possibly a mirror. It has been formed from a flat piece of lead which has been folded on each side to produce a frame to hold a square of glass. There does not appear to be any decoration on the back of the frame but there are two straight lines which could be decorative or due to post-depositional damage. It measures 67.34mm in length, 61.40mm in width, 11.45mm in thickness and weighs 235.03g.

A globular cast lead steel yard weight of possible Roman to Medieval date. This artefact has a corroded iron loop protruding from the top, which has been bent and flattened to the body. The body is also corroded and scarred. These weight are largely undiagnostic and were in use for a long period so dating is usually broad. This weight measures 47.8mm long by 38mm wide and it weighs 304 grams.
