A complete copper-alloy nail, possibly dating from the Roman to Medieval periods. It has a spherical head with a circular shaft which tapers to a point. The shaft is bent, probably due to post-depositional damage. It measures 50.42mm in length, 11.56mm in diameter at the head, 6.75mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 15.05g.
