A cast copper alloy Roman dolphin style brooch, dating to the first century AD. The brooch is almost complete, missing only its pin. The bow is decorated with raised vertical ribs that run down the centre of the spine; the wings enclose the spring and are decorated with a single incised line at either end. The bow is slightly twisted towards the foot where the catch plate is retained intact. This brooch is similar to those illustrated in Hattatt (2000) nos 882 and 817.

A probably complete, but with worn edges, sub-hexagonal stone roof tile found in association with Roman material. The edges are longer than the ends, both of which are V shaped. There is a perforation for a nail (5.75mm diameter) towards one edge of the V at one end. Measures c.360mm in length, max.c.220mm in width and c.28mm thick. It weighs in excess of 1kg (maximum allowance of scales available). Roof tiles such as these are common on Roman sites, but continue in use into the 19th century.

An fragment of Roman (AD 100-300) copper alloy spoon, consisting of an incomplete pear-shaped bowl, the 'C' or 'U' shaped joint and the base of the offset handle. It measures 34.36x18.52x9.52mm and weighs 5.3g. The 'C' shaped joint is 9.52mm tall and 3.26mm thick. Less than half the bowl survives (old, worn breaks). It would have been c.25mm wide (18.52mm at present). The handle is circular in section at the worn break and measures 3.09mm in diameter. A possibly incomplete copper alloy furniture fitting or stud, probably Roman in date (AD 43-410) and possibly with an incomplete shank. It measures 15.20mm long, the head is 17.53mm in diameter (shank7.30mm narrowing to 5.78mm) and it weighs 6.4g. The circular head is a little worn at the edges and hemispherical. It has a flat top and curving underside, with the shank extending from the apex. The head is missing some patina around the edges and the shank has three concentric grooves and iron staining towards its base, which may be incomplete.

A fragment of Roman (AD 43-410) copper alloy bracelet, consisting of one terminal and part of the hoop. It is curving and a little bent, and measures 41.97mm. It weighs 4.48g. At the very worn break, the hoop is D-shaped in cross-section (9.67x4.28mm) being curved to the outside surface. Apparent at the edges at this wider end are the remains of three transverse ribs flanked by grooves. All other decoration is lost. At the terminal (3.77x1.97mm) the bracelet is oval in cross-section. The bend is just before. The fragment narrows and thins from the wider end to the terminal.

A foot, the catchplate and part of the bow of a Roman copper alloy bow brooch. The bow is sub oval in cross section, is undecorated and tapers towards the foot. The catchplate survives on the reverse of the foot, the catchplate is broadly triangular in plan with a central perforation. The artefact is 27.55mm long, 10.95mm wide, 2.75mm thick and weighs 1.88 grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman (AD 70-110) Polden Hill type brooch of the Western Group. The wingspan is 30.95mm with two decorative grooves at either end. The side lugs are circular and pierced to hold an intact copper alloy axis bar, about which are eleven spring coils. The chord passes through a forward-facing lug at the top of the bow which has three grooves for decoration, the loop tapers to a point. Adjacent to the loop is a raised V. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) tinned copper-alloy Initial T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism, missing the pin, the lower bow and catchplate. The brooch measures 23.25mm in incomplete length and weighs 9.79g. The tubular wings span 30.35mm. They are decorated to the front only with a double groove flanking each open end.
