A fragment of Roman (AD 43-410) copper alloy bracelet, consisting of one terminal and part of the hoop. It is curving and a little bent, and measures 41.97mm. It weighs 4.48g. At the very worn break, the hoop is D-shaped in cross-section (9.67x4.28mm) being curved to the outside surface. Apparent at the edges at this wider end are the remains of three transverse ribs flanked by grooves. All other decoration is lost. At the terminal (3.77x1.97mm) the bracelet is oval in cross-section. The bend is just before. The fragment narrows and thins from the wider end to the terminal.
