An incomplete cast copper-alloy finger ring of Roman date. It is missing most of the hoop due to old breaks. The hoop is D-shaped in section, expanding slightly at the shoulders to the integrally cast bezel. This is oval shaped in plan and rectangular in profile. At the centre of the bezel is a recessed field containing a corroded mottled blue/white glass setting with an incised serpentine motif at its centre that perhaps originally containing niello or similar decorative elements that are now missing due to old breaks. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman finger ring. Only the bezel and part of one shoulder remains, the rest is missing due to old breaks. The bezel is oval in form but any recess or setting is missing. The shoulder which remains begins to narrow and does not appear to be decorated. However, the entire object is very badly corroded and it is therefore not possible to see much detail. The object measures 26.20mm in length, 18.40mm in width and weighs 7.91g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman finger ring. Part of the hoop and the setting are missing due to old breaks. The remains of the hoop have a d-shaped section and expand to a rasied bezel. The hoop is bent out of shape due to post-depositional damage. The bezel is oval shaped in form and has a circular recess that would originally have held in place a setting, possibly of glass or similar material, that is now missing due to old breaks. The hoop measures 22.80mm in diameter and the bezel measures 12.10mm in length, 10.90mm in width and 4.50mm in height. The ring weighs 4.74g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman finger ring. The back of the hoop and the setting are missing due to old breaks, and the edges of the hoop show signs of post-depositional damage and corrosion. The hoop is flattened, oval shaped in section and expands horizontally at the shoulders towards the flattened bezel. At the centre of the bezel the ring has been slightly flattened and bent probably as a result of post-depositional damage. The bezel itself is oval shaped in form with an oval shaped recess that would presumably originally have held in place a setting that is now missing due…
