Copper alloy finger ring. Flat D-sectioned band expands smoothly from the rear to form the bezel, which is decorated with two longitudinal grooves with multiple angled lines between forming transverse zigzags. There is a crack across the rear of the hoop, which is also slightly distorted. External diameter 16mm. Internal diameter 13mm. Width of bezel 6mm. Cf a silver example from Leicestershire, PAS database LEIC-106F52, with similar grooves forming ribs, but no zigzags. Probably Roman.
