A late Iron Age or Roman opaque blue glass bead, circular, with convex side, pierced, slightly concave around the piercing on either face, and decorated using simple glass melt with three equidistant sub-circular eyes formed from red dots on white, flush with the surface. Guido's Class 3 (1978, 49). c. 1st century BC - 2nd century AD. Diameter 16mm. Height 10mm. Diameter of hole 4mm. Weight 3.0g.
