Medieval lead alloy seal matrix fragment, 22mm long, 16mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 4.51 grams. It consists of the upper side of a pointed oval shaped matrix. Part of its inscribed border is visible but the wording can't be made out. Its reverse contains a protruding suspension loop.

A seemingly complete post-medieval lead-alloy cloth seal of mid/late 17th-century date. The disc is a four-disc alnage/subsidy seal from the county of Yorkshire. All four discs are sub-circular, with the outer discs smaller protrusions of the inner ones rather than properly defined and separated circles. Discs 1 and 4 are seemingly plain with the integral stud from Disc 1 being hammered over Disc 4 in a crude L shape. An incomplete and damaged post-Medieval cast lead-alloy button (c. AD 1500-c. 1700). The button is domed at the front and flat at the back. At the front a raised pattern consists of a grid with a pellet in each square. The shank at the rear is incomplete and the end is smooth and appears to have been chopped or sawn off. A casting seam adjacent to the shank is barely visible. This button has a buff patina. Height: 9.26mm; width: 14.20mm; thickness: 12.76mm. Weight: 2.80g. No analogy found.

A post-Medieval cast lead-alloy knob in the form of a human male head (c. AD 1700-c. 1800). This knob is probably from the lid of a tobacco holder. The head appears to be tonsured and is tilted backwards slightly, as if looking upwards. The facial features are clear and prominent. The brow is heavy and large and the eyes are almond-shaped. Cast lead alloy conical weight with corroded remains of an iron suspension loop at the top. The weight has an oval base with a indent in the centre, tapering sides and a rounded top. It is 28.5 by 24.9mm on the base 36.3mm tall and weighs 118 grams. It may have acted as a steelyard weight. Plain lead weights are usually locally made for individual uses and hard to date precisely although most are Medieval or Post Medieval.

A lead alloy uniface token probably dating from the Medieval period. The sub-circular token is unusually thick (5.2mm) and has rounded edges. The design is a square with concave sides divided in half by a line, all executed in raised lines with pellets at key points. There are further pellets at the edge of the flan in two quarters. This design would seem to fit best in Powell's Class 9.

A lead alloy probable Medieval trade weight dating from 1200 - 1600. It is exceedingly worn, so it cannot be conclusively identified. It is triangular in plan ad the front is stepped. No trace remains of any central design. The probable weight has a thick white patina. Compare trade weights such as SWYOR-0DAF66. It is possible this was intended for a 1oz weight.

A lead-alloy pilgrims' ampulla, dating from the Late Medieval period. The vessel has a circular body which extends upwards into a parallel-sided neck. This neck has been folded over (probably deliberately), so that its top now reaches halfway down the back of the body. The fabric of the vessel suggests that it is of Post-Medieval date.
