A Medieval to post-Medieval leg/foot from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel (c. AD 1250-c. 1650). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. The front of the leg has a central vertical rib which is flanked on either side by a vertical groove. The bulbous foot projects forwards. This leg/foot has an olive green patina. A complete Neolithic to Bronze Age flint implement (3500 BC-800 BC). This very large implement appears to be a discoidal knife or scraper. It is sub-circular in plan and pointed-oval in side view. One side is slightly more convex than the other side. It has been flaked on both faces and each face has a small area of cortex. The surfaces are generally coloured dark grey and light grey with some buff areas. The darker areas are shiny and the lighter areas are matt. Length: 124.20mm; width: 111.62mm; thickness: 31.82mm. The outer edge is 4.88mm in width and 3.24mm in thickness and is rabbeted throughout its width to accept and secure the U-shaped arm attached to the pin bar. The end of the bar is missing due to a break. There is a small notch on the upper face of the outer edge for a pin-rest. This fitting comprises a flat oval body with the stub of a hook at one end and an incomplete loop at the opposite end. At the front it is decorated with two parallel horizontal grooves. There is a circular off-centre hole adjacent to the grooves. The rear surface is plain. This surface of this object is orangey brown and has traces of a light green patina on both faces. At the front a raised pattern consists of a grid with a pellet in each square. The shank at the rear is incomplete and the end is smooth and appears to have been chopped or sawn off. A casting seam adjacent to the shank is barely visible. This button has a buff patina. Height: 9.26mm; width: 14.20mm; thickness: 12.76mm. Weight: 2.80g. No analogy found.

A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy (latten) spoon knop (AD 1500-1600). The knop belongs to a seal top type. It has a flat top under which it has several mouldings in the following order: flattened rounded ball/baluster/collar/baluster/collar/collar. Below the collar is the stub of the stem which is possibly hexagonal in cross-section. The knop is corroded and appears to be undecorated. Height: 28.88mm; diameter: 13.46mm. Weight: 5.49g. A similar example is illustrated by Homer 1975: 38 who categorises it as a Seal Top, type B dating to the 16th century.
