A small rotary key, cast in copper alloy. The bow is circular and fairly small; it is somewhat mis-cast and lumpy. There are two collars; a larger one adjacent to the bow and a smaller one, which becomes the rest of the stubby solid stem. The bit is simple, with two badly-cast clefts, one on each side. There is a short projecting tip. The casting is poor, with surviving flash. The key appears to have been used, though, as the bit has horizontal scratches on both sides. The surface is a dull green colour, with little wear. The key is probably medieval in date.

An unidentified object made of copper alloy and iron. The artefact consists of a flat oval copper alloy plate (38mm x 23.7mm x 1.3mm, 5.95g) with a sub-circular 4mm perforation at each end. An elaborate copper alloy crotal bell. The bell is made of two beaten hemispheres, soldered together around the middle. The bell is spherical, with a rectangular pierced lug at the top. This hemisphere has two small circular sound hole perforations; the base of the other has two perforations, joined by a slit (also known as the sound hole). The whole bell is decorated with radiating segments, which end in curved ends at the waist. The base has the initials FL on either side of the slit. The surface is smooth and dark green. This bell is post-medieval in date.

A cast copper alloy annular ring with a cast copper alloy pin. The ring has a diamond section, and a recess for the pin-loop. The pin (17.8mm long) has a disc-shaped collar and a tapering point. The surface is smooth and dark green. The brooch dates to the medieval period.

Surrounding this is an equally crudely cast legend, some letters of which appear to have been further worked (?with a knife). The inscription S'IOHIS FIL RADULFI can be translated as 'The seal of John Fitz Ralph'. On the back is an incised design formed of curvilinear lines and triangles, the meaning of which is unclear.

A cast copper-alloy medieval horse harness pendant. The face of the lozengiform pendant is very worn, though some of the design is still visible. The top of face has chequered board design with some traces of red enamel. A horizontal groove separates the design from the rest of the plain face. The top of the pendant has an integral loop, which is turned 90º to the pendant. The bottom of the pendant has been slightly bent inwards. The length of the pendant 38.1mm, the width is 28.7mm and the weight is 6.93g.

Incomplete copper alloy pin, Cool Group 10, sub-group A. Bi-conical head with three pairs of grooves arranged in a triangle on the upper part and a horizontal groove on the lower part. The circular sectioned shaft is slightly bent and has a diameter of 2.4-2.6mm. It is 64.41mm long and weighs 2.79g. It has a dark grey /beige patina. see Cool, 1990, Roman metal hair pins from southern Britain, page 159.
