Base silver radiate (or antoninianus) of Victorinus (269-271 AD). The obverse depicts a radiate crowned head facing right. The emperor depicted has beard and flowing hair. The legend reads:[VI]CTORINVS PP AV[]. The reverse depicts a figure - Providentia (Providence) advancing left with palm and cornacopiae. The legend reads: PRO[VIDENTIA A]VG. The coin has been chipped and broken in the plough-soil resulting in damage to the flan of the coin and resulting in the loss of some of the inscription.
