The sherd is possibly a portion of the rim of a large storage type vessel. In profile the exterior surface of the sherd forms a ‘¬’ shape with curved edges. The short edge slightly undercuts the longer edge, and is therefore slightly more than a right-angle. The sherd is 39.4mm thick. The fabric is quite soft and fine. The core is a dark grey colour with an oxidised brown/orange colour. There are occasional grey grit-like inclusions, particularly visible on the surface. The sherd is slightly abraded, and weighs 98g. It possibly dates to the Roman period.

Leeching has occurred on the surfaces, otherwise there are a few white/grey coloured inclusions remaining, which maybe shell. The sherds are abraded, and weigh 28g. They could date to the Roman or Medieval period.

There sherd is a portion of the body of an unknown vessel. The only decoration visible is one the exterior surface in the form of a fine horizontal groove. The sherd is abraded, and weighs 17g. It could date to the Roman or Medieval period.

The sherd is either the terminal of a spout for the rim of a very narrow necked vessel. The rim forms a collar from which the slightly irregular neck protrudes. The base of the neck begins to flare outwards slightly. The fabric is fine, and is a white colour throughout. The surface is slightly powdery. On the exterior surface there are traces of a green/cream coloured glaze. It weighs 15g. The object dates to either the Roman or Medieval periods.

There are two rim sherds and one body sherd of white ware vessels. One rim is beaded and has a white coloured fabric throughout. The other has an angular block rim that is slightly under-cut. This sherd has a blue/grey coloured core with white surfaces. The body sherd is from the lower portion of the vessel, which indicates the vessel had a narrow base compared to the diameter of the body. All sherds are probably Roman. They weigh 38g.
