A Henry VI penny, worn and clipped, from his first reign, 1422-1461, but coinage unclear. There is one annulet in the centre of at least one reverse quarter, as would be seen with the annulet coinage, but the reverse face appears to be mis-struck. Also there is a probable rosette to the left of the crown and the intial cross is cross V but the mint is York, there is no parallel coinage which combines all of these features.
