Slightly worn Roman denarius of Julia Mamaea, dating 221-235AD. The obverse of the coin is in good condition, with a right facing female bust surrounded by the legend [IVLIA] MAMAEA AVG. The reverse has a worn legend and depicts a standing female figure, with the right arm extending downwards and the left arm holding a cornucopia. This could either be Ceres or Annona, who share similar attributes. There is possibly a ship's prow behind the figures feet, however this is unclear due to the degree of wear.
