A copper-alloy As of Vespasian (AD 69-79), PROVIDENT, Altar, probably mint of Lugdunum, AD 71 or 77-8. The surfaces are heavily worn and corroded and a hole has been pierced near to the edge in order to convert the coin into a pendant. It measures 26mm diameter by 2.6mm thick and weighs 8.2g.
