Elizabeth I silver half groat, similar to North 2016. The obverse of the coin completely worn except for a pelleted circle and the legend E D G ROSA SINE SPINA. The reverse is less worn with a long cross forchee over a square shield. The cross divides the legend CIVITAS LONDON. The coin is from the third issue, dating from 1583-1603AD and was minted in London. It is 17.22mm in diameter and 0.76mm thick.

Very worn Elizabeth I half groat, first or second edition. The coin was struck in silver and has a dull grey patina. The obverse is extremely worn, except for the partial remains of a beaded circle. The reverse of the coin is more visible, with a long cross forchee within a beaded circle. Only a partial legend survives, but would have read [POSUI DEU ADIUT]OR[M MEU].
