Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 27mm long and 32mm wide. The brooch is in a fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 7.72grams. The brooch is complete, except for a missing pin. The wings, which were hinged, are circular in section and narrow towards their outer edge. The front of the left bow seems to have an incised vertical line as decoration. The bow which has a rectangular section is decorated with a raised inverted triangle surronded by a border of raised squares.
