A medieval lead seal matrix. It is a pointed oval in shape, 30.74mm in length and 15.30mm wide, weighing 8.77g. It is worn flat so that nothing of the inscription or decoration can be determined. The reverse is also plain and worn, with a small patch of applied lead near one pointed terminal, indicating the position of a loop handle now missing. It is similar in shape to a lead seal illustrated in Read, 1995,no 420 .

The king wears a crown and has a curl of hair to either side of the face. There are five pellets below perhaps representing the beard. Outside the triangle there is a sceptre on either side. The reverse has a circle containing a fleur-de-lis. Surrounding this are the letters DEMI, meaning 'half'. The mass of the object is 8.5 ounces.

This type of brooch is essentially Celtic in design but is Roman made and continued to be made until the end of the 1st century AD. Copper alloy mount probably from a harness strap or belt and dating to the post medieval period. The mount has a domed circular centre with small globular protruding lugs. Six lugs remain intact but there would have originally been eight. At the centre of the mount on the reverse there is an integrally cast rivet for attachment. The mount weighs 2.48g and measures 20.8mm in diameter and 6.5mm in thickness.

A contemporary copy of a CERES AVGVSTA type dupondius of Claudius I, 41-54 AD. Th coin could therefore date to any time after the beginning reign of Claudius I. The coin is worn and weighs 10.17g. Robert Kenyon, following on from the work by the French scholars P-A. Besombes and M. Bompaire (in Trésors Monétaires XXI, 2005), is working through the British examples of Claudian coinage recorded through the PAS assigning many so-called Claudian contemporary copies to Roman auxiliary mints which operated at Lyons (Gaul) and in Spain. This example could not be classified to a mint.

A lead incomplete object of unknown function and date. It is rectangular in shape with one terminal incomplete and bent backards. It measures 29.6mm in length and 9.3mm in width. The front face is slightly faceted and back face flat. The front face is also decorated with circular indentations, There is a central row of these until about half way doen the object and then there are two opposing border rows with one central indentation between the last four indentations at the complete end.

Incomplete stone whetstone. The stone is rectangular in cross-section and has four long smooth and well worn sides. The object tapers towards the broken end. The fibrous looking fracture suggests that the whetstone is made from Norwegian schist.

A copper-alloy sheet vessel fragment, probably a rim fragment with two copper-alloy rivets through it holding another fragment of copper-alloy sheet in place, possibly a vessel mend. Most likely to be medieval or post medieval in date. This fragment measures 39.4mm in length, and 11.3mm in width. The heads of the rivets are rectangular and the shafts split and bent outwards forming a lozenge shape on the inner face of the fragment. There are patches of a black patina on this fragment, due to it being exposed to an open fire.

Thick, heavy cast copper-alloy finger ring, possibly a late medieval archer's ring? It is too small to have fit over a glove or a thick thumb, but it seems to be too heavy to have been purely ornamental. The bezel is no hollow cast (thus very heavy) and may have held three semi-precious stones which are missing now.

A copper-alloy medieval harness pendant complete except for the upper fragment of the suspension loop. This pendant depicts an eagle displayed, similar to an example from Roudham, Norfolk used to demonstrate the presence of Amorial badges on pendants (Ashley 2002, 26, fig 25, no 2). The pendant is roughly hexagonal in outline and measures 32.6mm in length and 20.3mm in width. The suspension loop is set at right angles to the plane of the pendant. A copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century harness mount. This mount is rectangular in shape with a central roughly square decorative element and a hooked end to one terminal. It measures 54.7mm in length and 7.6mm in width across the shaft and 12.3mm in width across the central decorative element. The back face of this mount is flat and the front face rounded.
