Roman copper-alloy finger ring, 27mm in diameter and 18mm wide. The ring is in a fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 9.27 grams. The ring is plain with a sub-circular section and an oval form. It widens out to accomodate an oval recess, 20mm long and 15mm wide, which would have held an intaglio or stone.

A copper-alloy mount of probable 15th century AD date (Mills, 1999, p. 23). The object consists of a lozenge-shaped plate measuring 42mm long by 27.7mm wide and 1.7mm thick. The upper surface has a sunburst or eight-pointed star design within a narrow border. The spaces around the design are recessed and contain a dark blue enamel. The star itself has possible traces of gilding and a drilled circular attachment hole at the centre. The object is slightly bent and corroded. It weighs 7.14g.

Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 56mm long and 54mm wide. The brooch is in a fair condition with a light brown patina and weighs 21.35 grams. The brooch consists of semi-circular sectioned wings which contain a spring of 12 coils, the pin is missing. The wings are decorated with two vertical bands of incised lines and raised dots at each side. The bow is also decorated with at least 4 vertical incised lines and has an intact catchplate which is also decorated with two horizontal incised lines, one along its upper edge and one near its centre.

A small cast lead token. The token is flat and circular. The lead is very corroded. The obverse of the token depicts a eight pointed wheel motif. The lead has gone a dark greyish-brown colour. The reverse is blank. Due to a lack of excavated examples these tokens can only be loosely dated from between circa 1350 – 1850 AD.

A cast copper alloy single looped sub-rectangular buckle with moulded knops on each corner. The outer edge of the frame has been decorated with incised decoration. The pin is missing. The buckle is a mid reddish-brown colour. These buckles date from circa 1250 - 1400. Similar types of buckles can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p21.

Unusual copper alloy buckle. The buckle frame is in the form of a solid flat C-shape with scroll-like terminals which do not meet together. The entire face is decorated with a double moulded zig-zagged line with a flower head in the remaining triangular cells. The two scroll-like terminals each have a large flower head. There is a broken iron pin bar across the centre on the reverse. The pin is missing. A parallel to this object could not be found at the time of writing, but has been attributed to the late 15th century based on its style.

Two cast copper alloy rods, both with an attachment loop at each end. One measures 49.62mm long, 4.60mm wide, 4.18mm thick and weighs 4.44 grams. The other rod is 50.78mm long, 4.35mm wide, 4.38mm thick and weighs 5.24 grams. Despite the slight difference in size both rods are of the same form. They both have a circular cross section, which is widest in the centre, and narrows each end towards the attachment loop. Very worn Roman nummus of the House of Constantine. The coin is worn and corroded with a dull dark green patina. The legend is illegible on both the obverse and the reverse. The obverse has the outline of a right facing bust, however the details are unclear. The reverse has the partial remains of two soldiers holding one standard, which dates this coin between 335 and 341AD. The reverse legend would have read GLORIA EXERCITVS. The coin is 13.99mm in diameter, is 1.36mm thick and weighs 1.12 grams.

Cast copper alloy single loop buckle. Two lobed knops border transverse grooves on the buckle frame. The bar is narrow and the pin missing. The buckle is worn and corroded with a dull green-brown patina. It is 15.04mm long, 17.77mm wide, 2.24mm thick and weighs 1.05 grams. This style of buckle dates from 1250 to 1400 AD.

Cast copper-alloy Hod Hill derivative brooch. The circular bow is 17.73mm in diameter and the straight foot is narrow and plain. It is straight in profile with a thickness of 1.97mm. The head is turned back into a curled over hinge, typical of a Hod Hill brooch. The head-plate measures 11.36mm in width. The brooch is corroded and very worn, as such no trace of any decorative metal working can be seen. The pin is missing, while the surviving hinge and catch-plate are slightly bent out of shape. Cast copper alloy terminal, possibly from a penannular brooch or a buckle frame. The terminal is oval in cross section before the flat sub-rectangular end. The broken end of the terminal is slightly offset and wider than the rest of the fragment. The fragment is worn on all surfaces, including the break. The even green patina is suggestive of a Roman date. The fragment is 24.35mm long, 4.91mm wide, 2.78mm thick and weighs 2.06 grams.

Medieval copper alloy swivel from leash, two D-shaped loops each with stylised animal-head terminals gripping sides of transverse domed element (each half 28 x 24mm and 27 x 23mm, combined length 46mm). The two domed elements are joined, presumably, by an integral rivet on one being inserted into a socket on the other, although most of the junction is hidden from view. 12th century.
