Incomplete corroded ?cast copper alloy bow brooch of probable Early Roman date (AD 43 - AD 200). Parts of the cylinder, the whole of the spring mechanism and pin and most of the catch-plate are missing. The breaks are old. Length 33mm, width of cylinder 17.3mm. Weight 4.09g. The cylinder, when complete, almost fully enclosed the spring coil. There would have been a horizontal slot at the rear through which the pin extended. A copper-alloy object, perhaps a bead, probably medieval or early post-medieval in date. It is a short cylinder with a raised central rib and a groove on either side of the rib running around the middle. There is some wear or damage; one area of the lower edge is worn down. There is similar wear on the opposing upper edge. The wear on the upper edge is more extensive, extending almost to the lower edge. Small areas of dark green patina on a red/brown metal surface. Diameter: 4.97mm; thickness: 5.05mm; weight: 1.92g.

A copper alloy ring with a deeply engraved crowned Lombardic 'T' framed by a sprig of foliage on either side of the initial on a [16mm diameter and 1.5mm thick] disc shaped bezel. The shoulders of the hoop have an incised chevron either side of the bezel.

Incomplete Roman silver bracelet, missing one terminal and now in four parts (three of which comprise one circular 'eye' terminal). The bracelet is oval in section and 2.5x2.5mm at its thickest point. It tapers to either end, where the breaks are fresh, to a circular section c.1mm in diameter. The bracelet is now 48mm in length although the ends overlap by 13mm and it is rather squashed. It would have fitted a small wrist. It weighs 4.52g. The broken 'eye' is 5mm in diameter (internal 3mm) and 1mm thick in circular section.

Complete but squashed lead powder measure cap, possibly used for measuring a charge of gunpowder. Probably seventeenth century date. (AD 1600 - AD 1700). Length 17mm, width 27.5mm and 24mm thick. Weight 19.67g. The cap contained consolidated soil when measured. The cap, prior to being deformed, would have had a circular "base" and an oval mouth. Cast copper alloy finger ring formed from a fragment of bracelet. It has an internal diameter of 18.14mm. The piece has tapering sides, ranging in width from 8.33mm at one terminal to 5mm at the other. At its wider terminal it is decorated with a central line of small circular indents, with an incised or moulded line either side, and a series of ring-and-dot motifs alternating with sub-triangular indents down either edge.
