A lead/copper alloy/iron mount with anthropomorphic head terminal. The mount is formed from a circular sectioned post, terminating in a human head which has been moulded in three dimensions. There is a lead collar around the post. Two parallel linear lines represent the brow and eyebrows, there is a broad raised nose, a raised oval for the mouth, and a raised linear line for the chin. A Medieval lead seal matrix (13th – 14th century). The seal matrix is flat and circular with a perforated lug on the reverse. Some damage has occurred to the lug in that it has been slightly crushed and distorted out of shape. The central motif on the circular die is a bird facing left. A Post - Medieval copper alloy dagger guard (late 16th - early 17th century), now incomplete. The dagger guard has a central rectangular tang hole and on either side there is a quillon (with sub-rectangular section) that expands to form a faceted terminal. Rising from the junction between the quillon and the tang hole is a trifurcate openwork guard. A Medieval copper alloy ornate oval buckle with fragment of plate (late 12th-late 14th century). The buckle frame is D-shaped with an offset bar (square in section) and mouldings on the outer edge. A Medieval copper alloy annular brooch (1150-1260). The brooch comprises a circular frame of circular section with a pin constriction. The pin is still present, it was cast and has an open loop; although it was possibly originally cast closed and has now worn through. The pin is decorated with a moulded bulbous collar at the junction with the loop. The frame has cast moulded decoration forming a cable pattern. There is secondary cabling along alternate spirals.
